Member Spotlight: Mark is killing it and the Commitment shows!
So proud of this guy!! Mark started with me about 2 weeks ago and couldn't even grip the barbell across his shoulders because his shoulder mobility was so limited. Also, his squat form was not the greatest; one knee would collapse in a lot and his back was rounding forward tremendously from poor lower back strength and t-spine mobility. After teaching him how to work self-myofascial release, stretching, mobility exercises, proper body mechanics, this guy has begun to make strides in his progress! THIS IS WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO!
When we first started, he told me he just lost lots of weight and wanted to build muscle now. I told him if we can't move much, we won't be able to build much. I explained the importance of mobility and proper body mechanics and the impact it can have on our life. In terms of quality of life, if he didn't get better at it, he would begin to see more pain and injuries arise as he got older. He listens and focuses greatly on everything I teach him and it's showing that he is getting it! Keep it up Mark!
